6th International Conference on Mathematics and Natural Sciences
INTRODUCTION
The 6th ICMNS is organized by Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences ITB and supported by School of Pharmacy ITB and School of Life Sciences and Technology ITB. Origin of this conference was dated back 16 years ago, organized at national level and subsequently was transformed into a biannual international conference since 2006. This conference aims to disseminate recent research results in the field of sciences and mathematics and to promote multi- and inter-disciplinary researches in sciences and their applications. The two days intensive and warm interaction between researchers from across the world will be the driving force for the advancement of science, and in turn for future sustainable development of humanity. The scope of ICMNS covers several fields of studies, namely chemistry, physics, mathematics, material science, computational science, medical and pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, environmental sciences, science of renewable energy, earth and space sci ence. Since 2012, scientific articles presented in the previous ICMNS have been published in Scopus-indexed Proceedings. In the 5th ICMNS (2014), over 150 scientific articles were published in AIP Conference Proceedings. For the continuation of this tradition, scientific articles in the 6th ICMNS will be peer-reviewed and accepted articles will also be published in Scopus-indexed Proceedings.
In the year of 2014, ICMNS had been fortunate to have Prof. Brian P. Schmidt, the 2011 Nobel Laureate in Physics. In the 6th ICMNS, we are very honored to present Prof. Gerard t Hoof, the 1999 Nobel Laureate in Physics, as a keynote speaker, and 15 distinguished scientists as invited speakers. It is our great pleasure to invite researchers, lectures and students to present their recent research results in the 6th ICMNS.
